Who is Tim Dvorkin?
Tim Dvorkin (also known as Timmy) is a versatile keyboard player and composer, specializing in modern blues, jazz, funk, rock, and fusion genres. Timmy’s passion-fueled performances are so contagious that every listener is engaged in an awesome musical experience & joy.
He was born in Russia and began playing at restaurants, clubs, and other venues at the age of 14. Before moving to the US, Tim played with JAM, a blues/rock band that performed around Russia and Europe.
After moving to the US, Timmy attended Berklee College of Music, where he received the “Best All Around Keyboardist” award and played over 200 recording and film scoring sessions. Timmy has also played more than 3,000 shows all over New England, New York, South Carolina, Florida, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Tennessee, and Canada as a session player.
Timmy has played, performed, recorded, and shared the stage with Lionel Loueke, Tiger Okoshi, Janek Gwizdala, Antonio Sanchez, Warren Wolf, Walter Smith III, Jaleel Shaw, Deantoni Parks, Davy Nathan, Ruslan Sirota, Svoy, Dwight Adams, George Duke, Esperanza Spaulding, Christian Scott, Tony Gray, Jordan Perlson, Louis Cato, William James Adams Jr., Dmitry Ishenko, Steve Jenkins, Kayta Matsuno, Kurt Ozan, Sugarland, Clint Black, George Jones, Quiet Riot, Gary Bartz, Greg Bandy, Chris Beard, Bruce Katz, Shemekia Copeland, Mike Zito, and others.

Timmy is currently residing in Columbus, Ohio, working on his projects focusing on blues, jazz, funk, rock fusion, and more. Timmy’s studio and live performances include a solo act, trio, and quartet, and other projects as a session player.
